ABOUT MALTA

GET TO KNOW MALTA A LITTLE

Although Malta is a small country (About 246 km²) it boasts many wonderful wonders of nature and is rich in History. The country is made up of four islands. Malta, Gozo, Comino and Fifla. You may visit Gozo with the Gozo Ferry Ship and Comino with a boat. However, Fifla is a protected island and no one can visit without special permission.

That being said, there is still plenty to look at! Some of them are:

  • Valletta (The Capital City)

  • Roman Villa (Rabat - Malta)

  • Citadella (Rabat - Gozo)

  • Mdina (Silent City)

  • Blue Grotto (Malta - Zurrieq)

  • Inland Sea (Dwejra - Gozo)

  • Blue Hole (Dwejra - Gozo)

  • Wied il-Mielah (Dwejra - Gozo)

  • Red Tower (Mellieha - Malta)

  • Fish Village (Marsaxlokk - Malta)

Beautiful sandy and rocky beaches and beautiful landscapes are not the only great things about the Maltese islands. In fact, Malta and Gozo host a variety of restaurants that excite your taste buds. Most restaurants are found in Valletta and Sliema. You may find typical Maltese cuisine and also oriental and Mediterranean restaurants. Locally there are more than 2,000 restaurants across Malta and Gozo.
